I need some help. James H. Coffey b. 1872 married Ida Lievsay in 1898 and they are together in 1900 Roseville, AR. In 1910 however, she is back home with her father and no sign of James and children. I need a 1910 Logan Co. AR search for James H. Coffey and children: Ujean, Marvin, Merle, Leora. All the children will be under the age of 12. James and children may be with another family. Thank you!

I am searching for the grave, place of death, and date of death for K. Nollie Blair. He was born 2/2/1847 in Pike County, Alabama. He married Martha A. Herndon on 1/16/1873 in Pike County, Alabama. In 1880 he was listed in the Shelby County, Alabama census. He was a Confederate Soldier, serving in CO I, 15th AL Infantry. It is my understanding that he moved to Texas for a time and then moved to Arkansas. He had a daughter that married in Booneville, Arkansas. His first name might be Kirkland. Any information on him or his family would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Bill Blair 1691 Robert Burns Road Deland, FL 32720 [email protected]
I have been told that there is/was a Lievsay, AR. Does anyone know where it is or was? Thanks-- BSCoffey

Potter was also known as Rust and it is within five miles of Mena to the west southwest. Looks to be within four miles of the state line. If you are like me you know the cemeteries so within one mile of Rust/Potter AR there are three cemeteries: 1. Foster Chapel or Foster cemetery 2. Gann cemetery 3. McKinney cemetery Hope this helps Ron McCandless [email protected] wrote: > > I don't know about the Titsworth Reunion, but we are having a Turner Reunion > in July in Mena, if anyone is interested. > > Also, has anyone on the list heard of Potter, Arkansas? Potter Junction, Polk Co., AR Best wishes, Iva
Sorry to post this to the list but I don't know any other way to reach Teressa. Teressa, the last two messages I sent you bounced. Can you contact me at [email protected] Carole
I don't know about the Titsworth Reunion, but we are having a Turner Reunion in July in Mena, if anyone is interested. Also, has anyone on the list heard of Potter, Arkansas? I have an old autograph album of a cousin, which is inscribed to her on 1907 in Potter, Ark. I've searched every where I know to look, and can't find any Potter, AR. Thanks, Lynne :-) In a message dated 5/24/2002 4:00:35 PM Central Standard Time, [email protected] writes: > X-Message: #1 > Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 21:59:17 -0500 > From: "steve olenich" <[email protected]> > To: "AR LOGAN CO" <[email protected]> > > > Does anyone have information on the upcoming Titsworth reunion in Mena, AR > in early June? At the bottom is shows you that Sylvester II is the son of Sylvester I..............The man who did all this Workman research is on the Ozark County, Missouri Website.......he has done the WORKMAN family back to North Carolina...and it looks like he has a lot of HARD info......maybe his mother had the family bible or such. So to the Rootsweb site online and click on Missouri then go down the page and click on OZARK under Counties......you can read all the stuff he has and contact him via email....He is your cousin somehow!!!!!!!!! They are listed like this, Workman............NC, IND, MO, OK, KANSAS, CALIF.........this is YOUR Issac, Sylvester I and on down to you!!!!!!!!!! This man's name is highlighted there on the right. Click on his name and write him an email!!!!!!!!!!! You don't have to pay to go to Rootsweb and go to a state (Missouri) than county (Ozark)..........go meet your cousin. Also don't they have a Latter Days Saints Library near you all.......they are in thier church buildings and access to open and welcome by the public, they don't try to convert you or anything........they don't care if your athiest, baptist, Church of christ or what ever. All the WORKMAN records are there in one big research document free for you to print and have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would go to the Ozark County Missouir Rootsweb site right now and meet this amazing cousin of yours who did all this research and shared it with the world!!!!!!!! Http://www.Rootsweb.com GO!!!!!!!!!! I will be out of town until the first in June about the 7th. You better have all this stuff when I get back............smile..............FAye ----- Original Message ----- From: Carole Tyler <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, May 18, 2002 12:23 PM Subject: Re: [ARLOGAN] Workman's and Stewarts > > Teressa, > I don't know if you this information yet. I am also posting to Logan Co. since I know some Madden/Maddon families moved over there. I am looking today to find out what happened to Florence Madden/Maddon who was born 1893 in Yell Co. AR. and who was the daughter of George W. Madden and Maria Via. Her grandfather was Samuel Madden. In December of 1914 Florence married J.C. Harkey in Yell Co. In February of 1915 they obtained a divorce in Yell Co. At that time I think Mr. Harkey went to live with relatives in OK but I'm not sure. Florence fell off the Earth. She was in her 20's and I think the divorce decree gave her maiden name back to her. I would think that she would have married again? I have looked at every bride I have listed in the pages of the Yell Co marriage index that I have copied in Danville AR. I did not see her getting married to any other man. I would like to find out about her life after 1915. She is not listed in any cemetery book, or any other place I have looked both on line and or off line. Is there any help for me?
