Hi, all: I need some help. I can't find ANY information on my 2G-grandfather, Antone J. Kremers, b. Feb 28, 1843 in Erkelenz Rhineland, Prussia (Germany), immigrated to the US on October 3, 1879, d. April 10, 1905 in Arkansas around Scranton or Subiaco and was buried in, I believe, St. Meinard Catholic Cemetery in Logan County. His wife was Agnes Lehnen, b. September 28, 1840 in Erkelenz Rhineland, Prussia (Germany) and d. January 23, 1916 in Logan County. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm trying to find he or Agnes' parents. I've found his christening papers on a German site, but they don't list his parents. If you don't know these folks, perhaps you have a suggestion on where I can go for information or another avenue to investigate. Their kids are listed below. I thought that might help! I have a James H. Coffey b. 1872 married Ida B. Lievsay 1898. Could you see if you have any other marriages for a James H. Coffey age based on that birthdate between 1906 and 1917. Thanks Loads! BSCoffey

Rochelle, I checked Logan County Marriages, Pope County Marriages and Yell County Marriages, and they are not recorded in any of those. Johnson, Scott, Franklin County's are all good possibles. The Russell's and Bowmans were big familys just north of the Arkansas River in Madison County. Carolyn Ladd Bradley, I descend from Lucinda McCaslin's sister, Charity, and her husband William C. Hicks. As to whether Jack Hicks and William C. Hicks were related, I suspect they were but have no evidence. It doesn't help things that the children of William C. Hicks called Jack "Uncle Jack", as his marriage to Charity's sister secures that spot for him. It is quite interesting that they settled in the same area and married sisters. Keith Sanderson
