    2. Hi, Sorry, it wasn't me. But that's interesting as my grt grandfather lived near, and later in Paris, AR. His name was Stephen A.D. Earls and my grandpa Henry Allen Earls was born there. I visited as a child in the 50's but only stayed a few days at each visit. Maybe I was named after a relative? I'll have to look into that. Thanks for writing. Linda

    2. Hi Linda, Could this be your Richard Lee Smith on the 1910 Clark Township Census? I'm not positive on the middle initial "R", census was hard to read. If this is the same Richard Smith, son of Harriett Lee (b. abt. 1825 in NC) and Joseph Smith (b. abt 1818 in TN). Harriett Lee was dau of David Lee and Ann(a) (Lee) Lee and the Aunt Mary E. 3. Rowena I had a letter from my cousin, and she had received your info needed. She was having company for about a month. And sounded reluctant to send her family info to someone she did not know. as they get older they are suspicious on giving out their family things, and most of it is on the internet now. I will write her and tell her that people working onfamily lines, are not going to spread it all over, maybe that will help. they was telling me about a man here in our genealogy group, that did so much research on his family, and wanted to put it in a book form, for family members. When he told his older brothers back in VA they were mad and said if put their names and info in it they would sue him...... He put it in, but is very careful not to let them see a copy, after they pass on some of their children might want a copy. Let me knowhow you are related to her father, she could not remember any names that you told her, that she had met. Le me know Mildred

    3. Keith, Do you have any information on Calloway McCaslin who was married to Victoria Blackburn on November 9, 1882, in Logan Co? He was sometimes called Mont. As a widower he married Martha C. Francis on January 5, 1908. James A. Churchwell, my gg-grandfather, was Calloway's (step)father-in-law and was living with Calloway and Martha in the 1910 census. (SO I'VE BEEN TOLD.) MARY DIDN'T MOVE TO POPE CO. UNTIL 1880? AND WAS LISTED AS WIDOWED,LIVING NEXT DOOR TO A JOHN COLBURN THAT I THINK IS HER BROTHER. THE TAYLORS AT THIS TIME STAYED IN LOGAN CO.
