    3. Sandra, Logan County also has a Court House in Booneville. Several counties in Ark will have two court houses. Remember to always ask the Court Clerk for locations and addresses.     3. Does anyone know when Scranton, Arkansas was founded. I was looking at the Polk's Arkansas State Gazetteer & Business Directories 1892-1893, Vol. III. Detroit-Chicago-St. Louis R. L. Polk & Co., 1892...and it lists all of the towns in Logan county, along with business owners and the nature of their business. However, it does not list Scranton. My g-grandfather was ISAAC RUFUS TURNER b.1839 in TN, and was married twice, (1) MARY ELIZABETH LEE b. 1840 in Tn. and (2) MARTHA VIRGINIA WHITE b. 1851 in TN. Other family surnames from marriages are: RAINS, FARMER, TRUSTY, SMITH, McDANIEL, HELTON, BRADLEY, WHITE, OLIVER, McCLINTOCK, DAVIS, ALLEN, CHAMBLIN, GILLILAND.
