    3. Searching for information on Louise Van Epps (b. 1908) from Logan Co., AR. Information is that she was "taken in" by an Eva Corley in 1917 from the Orphan train program. Came to Logan Co. w/ two sibling that were taken by other families. It seems that Eva Corley was a single woman that took a 9 yr. child in to raise. Eva married in 1923 to James Bramlett. Was wondering what happend to Louise Van Epps. Looking for information on Eva & James Bramlett's family (including Louise). Thanks. sheila

    3. Bill in Scott County, (Became Logan County in about 1874) Hiram and his famly are living in Tumlinson Township. 1850 Census of Arkansas Scott County/Tumlinson Township WEAVER, William age 25 born TN, Elizabeth age 22 born TN, Jefferson age 4, John B. age 3, Hiram M. age 8 months. I don't find a Weaver family in the 1860 (just one boy see below) or 1870 Scott County census, however my Great aunt Mollie Davis (daughter of Ephriam Davis and Mary Jane Akers), married W.M. Weaver in Logan County, AR. WEAVER, W.M. age 26, Sugar Grove, to DAVIS, Mollie age 21 Mixon, 27 January, 1895, by J.H. Wilkins, G.J. Ross & Enoch Davis Securitys (Bondsman), Book DE, page 263, Booneville Courthouse record, Logan County, Arkansas. There are 16 other WEAVER grooms, married in Logan County. Isaac Weaver age 18 b ARK,was living with Jorden S. Parks family in LaFave Township, 1860 Scott County census. The Weaver's must be in a nearby county, Johnson, Franklin, Yell etc. in the other census. 3. I want to add my "Thanks" to Frank & Betty Cochran for their dedication & help to all of us researchers. They have certainly made our work easier. Thank You also for the 1880 Census transcription. I sincerely believe that the following should read Perrymore instead of Perryman: County: Logan Enumeration District: 95 Page No: 26 Reel no: T9-50 Division: Shoal Creek Township Supervisor District: 2 Sheet No: 186A Enumerated on: June 14, 1880 by: Matt Hixson Line 26 Perryman, William W M 25 farmer AR TN TN | P655 | no dwelling or family number listed (P656) Line 27 Perryman, Ida W F 20 wife keeping house AR TN TN Ida's maiden name was Hardwick I hope this is of some help for those searching the Perrymore Family. 1. [ARLOGAN] Weaver 1860 or 1850 ?
    2. Looking for Hiram M. Weaver he would have been about 10 years old. He had a brother J. C. Weaver abt. 13. I know Hiram was born in AR in 1850. So maybe I should start with 1850 instead of 1860. On the 1850 I'm not sure if Hiram will show up but J. C. should. Maybe Jefferson C. I'm not sure who their parents were. Maybe John Weaver. Thanks to whoever can help. Bill

    3. Bill, Logan County did not exist in 1850 or 1860. You may have to search surrounding counties for them. 3. If you have a problem with the list or a posting on the list, please let me know. [email protected] Please do not send your suggestion as to changes you would like to see, to the entire list. If each of us began to send postings as to suggestions how to make the list run smoother, the Logan Co., AR list would soon become a list on how to have a better list, not on the history and people of Logan Co., AR.. I appreciate each of you and know this list is the success it is due to you. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    3. well judy, correct me "if" i am wrong...but is this site not meant to ask questions and share information...and continue building state, county and city archives??? archives are more than the "facts" of any family or community.....when we share our "personal" experiences and our family names and history....we connect and continue to build the archives of "all" our families and cities in logan county , arkansas....i for one have native american heritage in arkansas...my great grandmother and great uncle were born in logan co. ar.....if we cannot find records which do not exist or are burned forever, how can we find our roots without asking and sharing information....maybe what is on this list everyday does not pertain to all in a personal way...but it relates to all of us in some manner...there has not been much on this list posted for a while..and i for one am enjoying it....if i am not interested in opening it....i delete it, which is rare.....also when two people correspond in a couple of posts...we get to know these people in a indirect way....and it continues to build archives and stories of logan county arkansas.....i also know that i have accidentally replied to the list instead of a person directly ....... have a great day.... teressa...:)
