The deed appears in an index to deeds and mortgages for Little River County: Warranty Deed (WD) Grantors: Thomas Trammell and wife Acenath Grantee: Martha Acenath Johnson Deed was created on 18 May 1885, but not recorded until 27 March 1907, 22 years later The index does not give the location of the deeded land. Trammell homestead lands were in sections adjoining the section where Samuel M. Johnson began homesteading in 1888. I don't have a copy of the deed, but it can be found on page 279 of book 32, Little River deeds. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
