I went to Davis County Iowa a couple years ago and found where Christopher Grider is buried. I could not find my Irwin or Evan Grider buried there but found that Christopher died during the time that he was settling up Irwin/Evan's estate. I have not located where Rev. Jacob Grider is buried, but I was probably looking in the wrong county. I believe that Mahala moved with the family to Davis county Iowa after Jacob died but did not find her buried there either. I did take pictures of some of the stones while I was there. Rev. Jacob Grider's father was a Revolutionary War Soldier and I have pictures of his stone and DAR marker in Putnam County Indiana.
