Battle was born abt 1873 in Tennessee, dont know who his parents were........he was married to Flora Johnson, but she was married several times so I dont know if Johnson was her name when she married Mr Battle. They are found in 1910 census of Arkinda Arkansas, it is Charlie, his wife Flora, a child Aubrey, , a child Chase, b 1909 ARK......... living with them was Barney W. VANTREE , step son..........he was Flora;s son from a marriage with William Vantree, they also had a daughter Ruthie Agnes Vantree., who later married James Elerbee Hendrix. There was a daughter Edna Battle , b abt 1911, Edna died in the 1960s....and is buried at Chapel Hill Cemetery in De Queen Arkansas....she apparently did not marry. I cant seem to find any info on Charley B Battle, when & where he died, there was a census in 1920 in Caney , Atoka Ok, where it appears it is him with another wife Ida, but no way of knowing for sure. I had hoped that someone could help me find out when and whe! re he died and any othe rinfo about the children who I am unsuccessful tracking past 1910, in Little River..........any help appreciated Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
