The Final Certificate for a homestead started in 1884 would probably have been issued about 1891 -- maybe similar to the 1894/95 files I described. Re Duncan: that's a new name. I think it will have a thread of it's own some day, but probably off in the future a bit. Hope you have good luck with the homestead papers.
