Biggs (born June, 1864 in Illinois) and his wife Allice or Alice (born approx, 1878 state unknown) Gordon. They were married in Jonesboro on March 17, 1907. The marriage license states that Allice's name was Mrs. Allice Gordon. Apparently she was married to an unknown Gordan before Franklin Biggs. During my research, I found that Allice's maiden name might have been Swartz and that she was native american. Franlin and Allice had one child, William Biggs (born 1910 in Arkansas). After that, I can't find any information on any of them. It was rumored that Allice was placed in the Arkansas State Hospital for Mental Diseases. In 1920 and 1930, the was an Allice Biggs in the hospital. I have no proof that it is her. After she was placed in the hospital, Franklin sent his son William to live with one of his (Franklin's) brothers. Franklin's father was William Green born August, 1836 in Illinois and his mother was Mary born November, 1847 in Virginia. Any help on Franklin, Allice, and William would be wonderful.
