I have a subscription to newspaperarchives. In there is the obit on your grandfather. It states he was the son of the late Mr & Mrs Jacob Friedline. It also states he is survived by a brother Jacob of Iowa. I find in the WWl cards a Jacob Louis living in Macoupin IL, his card states next of kin is Wm of Greene Co IL. Jacob was b Jun 6 1898.
