Each small booklet lists monthly programs, yearly officers, and members who have responsibility for parts of each monthly program. These ladies are usually only listed as Mrs. (initials) Surname. The monthly topics are very interesting: from countries, states, music, literature and much more. For the 1913-1914 year committees included Park, Tree Planting and Flower Culture, Library, Entertainment, Music, Sanitary, Junior Leage, Court Square, County Fair and Historical, and Temperance and Civil Service Reform. If you have female ancesters who lived in Ashdown during this time period, please contact me and I will be glad to see if I can find their names.
