My grandfather-Harry Leroy (Roy) Vowiell was first married to Emma McCoy,they lived in Picher OK,My grandmother was Ella Mae Mills born in Little Rock AR around 1908.Ella lost her parents at an early age .My grandfather and his first wife,Emma took her in.Harry and Emma later divorced.Ella was married first to a Miles Bellflower in OK.They divorced in 1925-6.mY GRANDFATHER (Harry Vowiell)married Ella (my grandmother in 1926.They had 6 children (a set of twins).Ella died in 1936 in Joplin MO.I was told that Emma McCoy and Ella Mae were somehow related.I have a picture of all of them together.Have marriage,divorce and death records for Ella.Ella`s father was supposedly named Robert or Jack.If interested please e-mail me at vowdawn@hotmail.com.Maybe we have a connection.Do not know much about her family.L! ike I said it is a complicated story and more than I have posted here.Thanks for any info that might help.Dawn Vowiell.
