    3. I need direction. My husband's grandpa was: James Henry Ingram. b: 17 MAR 1864 in Effingham Co. Il d: 27 JUL 1908 - buried in Tyro Cemetery near Colman,AR. He has a Woodman of the World Marker. In 1900 James and Margaret Alice (Chezem) Ingram were in Mainshore Township, Greene Co. Ark. He was renting and lived on a farm. Everyone in the family were born in Illinois. CHILDREN: Lena Ingram b: 14 Feb. 1893 Stephen Ralph Ingram b: 12 MAR 1899. James Henry died between census. Mortality schedules are taken at time of census for people dying the previous year (i.e 1909) - he died 1908. Arkansas did not start keeping death records until 1914. Star City has no vital records. The newspaper of Star City has had a fire - nothing available for 1908. Woodman of the World keeps records for only 10 years. Can ANYONE think of where I can find maybe Tax records?
