    2. I like the posting of the old cures too Betty, may I put them on the site? Does anyone out there have anymore? I never liked to tell my mother about any of my wounds as a child it meant getting the needle and burning it (to sterilize it) and then she would start poking at me. I got a piece of pencil lead (don't ask) in my leg and it took me half a day to try to get it out, I as NOT going to tell my mother! LOL I still have that lovely beauty mark! She liked to make poultices and stuff, but I don't know the recipes. I had many a bag of something stinky on my neck while I slept!
