I thought some of you might enjoy hearing about a funny coincidence that happened to me. I live in Tyler Co, Tx and have roots in Lincoln Co. I was talking to a lady at a church rummage sale and somehow mentioned that I was born in Ark. She immediately said, "Where in Arkansas?". Thinking she would never have heard of Winchester, Ark. I kinda fudged and said, " Around Dumas". She promptly said,"Where around Dumas?" and I stuttered that my Dad's family was from Watson and I was born in Winchester. (Daddy's family are originally from Lincoln Co.). Anyway, to make a long story longer, we found out that we both lived in the same house ( not at the same time!). I had a Lincoln Co Cemetery Bk and a Lincoln Co. History Bk and found all her family in it. She was a Collins and her people are all buried in the Tyro Cem. Isn't that neat! Frances
