Thank you for that list! I find my ancestor listed - the one I am stuck at because I don't know his father's name, where he was born or anything else. It is T.T. Burr (Tapley Thomas Burr) and all I know is he had a sister, Ferba Burr who married Billy DeWeese and that Tap's mother's name was Nancy. I don't know her maiden name. She later married Joel Thomas. Does anyone know where I look to find anything in military records that might list Tapley Thomas Burr's place of birth or parents name? I have the application for pension and it doesn't help. Thanks.
