J.D. and his wife Sarah Rebecca Wilks Brown are buried in this Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln Co. AR. He was a PVT in Company B 2nd Reg AR CAV. His grave is unmarked, Bettye Bond and Murlene Degges both ancestors of this Brown line applied for and received a Federal headstone recently.
