Part II is the family histories of people interviewed and additonal ones submitted by others. Of particular interest to genealogists is the EVERYNAME INDEX which contains over 2400 surnames. Everyone needs to check the index even if they think their families didn't live near the bayou. The genealogies are not restricted to that area; they spread far back in time and come forward to the present in many diverse places.
