    1. Submitting to Lincoln Co.
    2. I agree 100% with Wendy Gayle, we should submit our information to be posted on the list. I, for one, do not know how, tho!! Wendy, please, explain how and I'm sure there will be a lot of information submitted. The obits that was submitted are shown on ARGENWEB Archives, aren't they? Do you show any Newman, Spears, Reynolds, or Hairston on the marriage list? I would appreciate the information. I have a copy of the LINCOLN COUNTY HISTORY BOOK and a copy of the LINCOLN COUNTY CEMETERIES. I'll be glad to help people. 2. In a message dated 10/13/1999 2:16:47 AM Central Daylight Time, ARLINCOL-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: << I'm working of the HEFLIN-ROWE-WILLIAMS-and any family connected to the HEFLIN's. My GGGrandfather was Milton HEFLIN married Vernetta J. McLEMORE. They had Nancy Ann HEFLIN , who married Joseph Jackson ROWE. Nancy Ann and Joseph Jackson ROWE moved to Clark County, Arkansas. Thanks Mike Marcum Mmarcum329@aol.com >> I also have a Rowe in the family that lived in Clark. He was William Rowe and married Grace Watson. They divorced and he remarried. I was told that his name was actually Ruvo (not sure of the spelling) and that he changed it when he came to America from Italy. I didn't find him on the passenger lists. Probably because I don't know how to spell it. He and Grace had two daughters that are still living but they didn't know him very well and don't know how to spell his name either. Researching: MULLIKIN/NEWMAN/BATES/GIFFORD/BILUSE (SIC)/WOODS, ETC. Maybe submitting them on the list will help us connect. Does anyone out there know what happened to the Lincoln County Coordinator? The site was last updated in March and she doesn't answer her e-mail. Maybe we should all contribute something to the Lincoln County site since there doesn't appear to be much on there. I know that there is a Lincoln County History Book and that a woman submitted many obituaries and cemetery listings for Lincoln County, but for some reason you can't find a link from the site to them. So, if you are on the list and have not submitted your information please do so, it helps the people that are not on the mailing list to find you. Take care of yourselves and good luck in your research. I will volunteer look-ups for Lincoln county researchers on this list: Arkansas Marriage Records 1850-1900. Send me your names and I will check it out for ya. Please note that this is not a complete list so don't get discouraged if I don't find them for you but it never hurts to check. 1. ROLL CALL
    2. These are my surnames: STEWART (STUART), BASHAM, RAGON. Two daughters of Howard and Agnes Shelton (BASHAM) STEWART (STUART). Agnes Shelton BASHAM was the daughter of William Jonathan BASHAM and Lucy Jane (RAGON) BASHAM. Agnes and Howard had two daughters, named Jane and Catherine STEWART (STUART). I don't know what their married names were. Hope I can find some information on them. This would have been in the late 1800 or early 1900's, probably in Lincoln or Arkansas Counties. 3. "OK folks, it's time to wake up" Gee Whiz, Bill... Can't a lady get some sleep on these lists? Everytime I turn around, you're on one of my many lists wanting information! :-) Okay, okay already... In DREW, DESHA, LINCOLN or any other Arkansas Co., I am searching for LEE, LEEK, CONRAD, ROWEN, CLEAVER, and MERRITT. I've given up being picky about certain individuals since that doesn't seem to be happening so I'm just collecting everyone in a given surname group and sifting through until I find who I need. I'm going to go take a nap now. E-mail me after my first pot of coffee kicks in and I might be more coherent, (yawn) Jo-Ann Stephens Bahai@netusa1.net Indiana
