    1. [ARLINCOL] Watson School Information
    2. Billy Covey
    3. Hi Folks: I have started collecting information on people that attended the Watson, Desha County school and will eventually get into a FileMaker database. As of now the information gained is being entered into Microsoft Excel. Obviously this project will never be finished. However, once I have collected and recorded enough information to be useful I will donate it to the Watson library for use by anyone that thinks the information will be useful in their genealogical quest. Regular updated copies will be sent to the library to replace the older version they will have on hand. If anyone has information about any student that attended Watson at any time please let me know. Bill Covey Author of Watson Is Where It Wuz http://billcovey.50megs.com

    1. [ARLINCOL] Boody Caton
    2. Please reply to Wanda at the email below: From:    res02915@gte.net (Wanda June Freeman) To:    WendyGayle@aol.com Hello Wendy, my name is Wanda (Caton) Freeman and I have been researching my "CATON/GRANT/JONES" family lines. My uncle Boody CATON and grandma Mollie (Grant) Caton should be buried in Lincoln Cemetery. I have no idea why they wanted to be buried in Lincoln, Ar? Most of this family (if not all) were born in Cane Hill, Ar., and Prairie Grove, Ar., from 1907-1923.  Mollie had 2 other children who died young, Howard Caton (almost 5) & Lois Caton (infant-toddler). The only thing I can think of is either the GRANT/JONES side(s) came from Lincoln Co., Ar.? Mollie's parents were Elisa Franklin Grant and Dulcene (Jones) Grant. Dulcene b.abt. 1852 where? They married 11/1/1874 maybe in Prairie Grove, Ar.? Other names: CRAWLEY                     CHADDOCK/CHADDUCK/SHADDOCK/SHADDUCK/etc... Any of your help will be much appreciated! :-) Thank you! Wanda.

    1. [ARLINCOL] Where in Arkansas
    2. Kathleen
    3. In 1887 Charles Franklin Loomis lost his wife Jeanette Fisher Loomis. In his grief he left Kansas and went back to Arkansas (county unknown) and settled there. The family story goes that while there he became involved in Tabacco business run by a family by the name of Pryor. Would like to connect with anyone who either 1) knows of Charles Franklin Loomis or 2) knows of a Tabacco Business in Arkansas owned or run by a family by the name of Pryor in the 1888's.
