"Riders on the Orphan Train," a literary/musical presentation and audience discussion, will be presented at the Tri-County Genealogical Society building in Marvell on Friday, April 5 at 2 p.m. This free program is sponsored by the Phillips-Lee-Monroe Regional Library in conjunction with the Arkansas Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities. The program combines original songs, a literary reading, audio-visual material and stories by riders of the Orphan Trains. There will be a question and answer session and handout materials will be provided. The program is being presented in lieu of the regular Tri-County Genealogy program on April 14.
