Posted on: Lee Co. Ar Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ar/Lee/14 Surname: Triplett, Wilson, Swanson ------------------------- My grandfather Andrew Washington Triplett b.25 Dec. 1860, married Virginia Ella Wilson b.May 1862. There were numerous children. I know of Columbus, Jesse,Rosa,William, Elizabeth(Lizzie)Octie,Dovie and my father Hayes Albert. Grandmother died when my father was born and my grandfather then married Nancy Ann Jeffcoat Johnson. They had a son Garland who lived in Marrianna until he passed away 5 June, 1988. I know that Andy's father was named William Louis Triplett and he was born in So.Carolina as was Andy. I would appreciate any information about this family. Especially about William Louis Triplett as I know hardly anything of him or his wife and other children. He may have served in the Civil War but I have been unable to find him listed anywhere. Also Information of the Wilson family. My grandmother's sister Molly was married to Jim Swanson and I'm interested in this family too. Thank you for your help.

Cooper's courtroom in Shelby Co during 1900; had to be residents of the US for at least five years, residents of TN for at least one year; had to renounce their allegiance to the ruler of their native country and have two witnesses to good moral character. One of these new citizens was: Peter N. Solari--renounced his allegiance to the king of Italy. Filed oath of intent 25 Aug 1888 in LEE CO. ARK Circuit Court, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen 16 Jan 1900. Happy Holidays to all and thanks again for the help from Lee Co mailing list members on the Thompson family. pat vincent
