    1. [ARLEE] Really Big Big Posting Error
    2. Susan Jones
    3. Hi List, I hope everyone learned a lesson from my horrible mistake last evening. Never post to a list when you are tired. I posted a website that would show fixes to the errors in initials after ancestors' surnames. Then I blew it. I said: "Sorry for the incontinence." I meant to say inconsistencies. I hope you all had a great laugh. LOL Now, I just need to find a dark closet somewhere and hide for a few days. You all have a great one. Sue (Dumb Dora) macduff@infi.net

    1. [ARLEE] Errors with Initials after ancestors' names
    2. Susan Jones
    3. Hi List, It has been pointed out to me that on numbers 2, 3 and 4, there are errors. If you would go to this website, you will get the correct information. Apparently the person who posted the information originally, made a mistake and I just duplicated it. Here is the website. http://us-gen.com/al/bibb/court/legal.htm Sorry for any incontinence. 1. [ARLEE] Location of Cemetery
    2. Susan Jones
    3. Hi List, I have had an offer to take pictures of some headstones but I need to find where the cemetery is located. I have never been to Arkansas so I am totally lost. I am looking for Cedar Heights Cemetery. I have been lead to believe that it is somewhere in Marianna. If you can help in giving directions to this cemetery or just where it is, I would really be thankful. Sue in Sunny Florida macduff@infi.net

    1. [ARLEE] Cedar Heights Cemetery
    2. Susan Jones
    3. Hi List, Apparently my first posting never made it to the list. I did not see. I will try one more time. If it did come to the list but I did not get a copy returned to me, I am sorry for the duplication. Is there some kind soul who can take pictures in a cemetery for me? Unfortunately, I do not have the row or lot number. There may be more than just the husband and wife buried in the lot so I would be interested in any other grave in the lot. The cemetery is Cedar Heights Cemetery in Marianna, I believe. I am going by the obituary. I am looking for the headstone of John Washington Jones II and his wife, Martha (Mattie) T. Jones. John died May 7, 1946 and Mattie died Sept. 28, 1934. Thanks for any help you can give. Sue in Sunny Florida macduff@infi.net

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Heath Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jV.2ADE/46 Message Board Post: Family history has it that Elvis Heath was living in Arkansas and working as a revenuer and was killed while on duty, sometime in the mid to late 1920's. I know that he was living in Moro, Lee County, in 1910, when he returned to Kentucky to marry Dollie Lindsey. I am assuming he returned to AR at that time. I would appreciate any help anyone could give regarding this incident, or any other information about Elvis Heath. We do not know for certain whether he was returned to Kentucky for burial or is buried there. Thanks.

    1. [ARLEE] COMMERCE (?)
    2. Sandra Ferguson
    3. Working on a new family theory, I need to know a bit about the area in around 1840...and, about somewhere called Commerce, or perhaps Commerce Cut Off? I tried various mapping sites but none could show me where Commerce is. I also need to know if Lee Co is close to Mississippi Co, and was ever part of Ms Co. There didn't seem to be much info on the Lee co site on genweb so I can use any and all help I can get. Here's what I'm pondering; my ancestor married in 1841, Helena Arkansas, but was said by the family to have also been in Commerce, Ms....I'm wondering if they could have mistaken the state for the Co, and he was REALLY in Commerce, Ms Co, Ark.....could this have been a physical possibility in 1840...Commerce, Ms co, Ark? Thanks.....I've been at a standstill for ages on this family, and this is a new try at finding them! Sandra

    1. [ARLEE] Finding a marriage date
    2. Susan Jones
    3. Hi list, I am trying to find a marriage date for William Mitchell JONES and Claudia WILLIAMS. I know it was sometime after 1910. I have the 1920 census and he is married to her. She is his second wife. Going by the ages of the youngest children, I am guessing they were married sometime between 1912 and 1914. Is there a place on line where I can search for the marriage, even a marriage intention? This will help me in getting the marriage document. I would also like to find when Claudia died. William married for a 3rd time but I do not have a guesstimate yet as the 1930 census is not out yet. Thanks so much. Sue macduff@infi.net
