Membership is $15 a year, $20 for a family, and entitles a member to three journals a year and unlimited queries in the journal. We have a dedicated group of volunteer workers who open the library on Sunday afternoons from 2 - 5, and on Thursday afternoons from 1 - 4 and are available for research assistance to members and guests on those afternoons. We provide as much assistance to non-resident members as we can reasonably do so. If you have ancestors in the Phillips-Lee-Monroe county area and cannot attend the meetings, we urge you to join the Society and let us work with you through our organization. Some of my relatives had a James Gann living with them on the 1920 census. He was 17 and listed his birthplace as AR. He was a farm laborer. If this might be him, that might help.

    2. I think the zip is 72360 & it is the Marianna Library. I'm pretty sure they would have obituraries for that year. More than likely it would be on Microfilm for the Courier Index (Marianna's Newspaper)
