Silas and Mariah Orr Ruffner were my g,g,grandparents. 5. Joseph Ruffner, m. Mary E. (unknown), Lydia Mahala Terry & 3rd, Sarah A. Lallon. 6. Nancy J. Ruffner m. Robert H. J. K. Orr and 2nd, John M. Housh, 1888. After Elias Ruffner died in 1857, Nancy Phillips Ruffner married Reuben G. Gillespie. No children from this marriage. ORR John Orr m. Mary Hardin in Gallatin Co., Illinois and removed to Lawrence Co. in about 1850. Children: 1. William Orr m. 1st, Julia Ann Garrett, 1854 & 2nd, Mary M. Montgomery, 1874. 2. Mariah Orr (might have been married to a Howard 1st. 3. Joseph T. Orr m. Mary Ann Margaret Bush, m. Jan. 1859 & Joseph died in Oct. 1859. She m. 2nd Lewis Ruffner, 1860. (Lewis Ruffner, son of Elias) 4. Mary Margaret Orr m. Benjamin Robert Bush, 1858. She died in 1881 and Benjamin married 2nd, Mary Ellen Guthrie, 1882. Mary Ellen died in 1891 and Benjamin married 3rd, Emeline Kinion in 1894. 5. Robert H. J. K. Orr m. Nancy J. Ruffner, daughter of Elias. Robert was Mariah Orr's brother. It's unknown what happened to Robert. Nancy m. 2nd, John M. Housh, 1888. 6. Louis Shelby Orr m. 1st, Frances H. Wayland, 1874, 2nd, Georgia Ann Coe, 1877. Child of Louis Shelby Orr and Frances H. Wayland; Nancy M. Orr. Unknown what happened to her. Children of Louis Shelby Orr and Georgia Ann Coe; Lela Orr, John Joseph Orr, Alpha Orr, Audra Orr, Otto Orr & Eunice Orr.
