Daniel MARTIN and Ellender AYERS MARTIN came to Lawrence Co. circa 1817, while it was still Madrid Co. Mo, I think, can't remember without paper work. One of their issues was a son name James [Jim] [M.?] MARTIN. Daniel and Ellender moved to East Texas in 1833, leaving AR in 1832. Jim stayed in AR, but later moved to East Texas then back to AR. The MARTINS were pioneers to PANOLA and RUSK Counties, TX. The history is complete here, but vague before coming to TX. They were friends of the Wyatt's and Houghs [Huffs] before TX, and after they moved to TX. Any information will be appreciated. Marilyn marilyn@tyler.net
