Hi. In the 1910 census, Joseph C. Hall is listed as "Farmer, Gen Farmer", but this is written over something else that I can't read, but it looks like chipper, and building??. In the 1920 census, Joe C. Hall is listed as Sheriff of Lawrence County. In 1930, Joseph C. Hall is listed as proprietor, furniture store. I can only gather by this that he would have been sheriff sometime between 1911-1929. Sorry I'm not much help, but at least the 1920 census confirms it. Does anyone on the list have access to any information that might confirm that Joe was the Sheriff, and possibly determine the years in which he served the county as the Sheriff? Thanks so much, Mike Landwehr Mike@Landwehr.com ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
