Hey Ya'll, I hope someone can help me with a look up? I need a look up in the Lawrence Co, Marriage Book 1820-1850. If anyone has the book? My 3rd Gr-Grandmother Betsy Renfrow was listed in the Book. There also was a Sarah Renfrow and I was hoping someone could help with Sarah Renfrow. I was wondering if there could be a connection with my Betsy Renfrow. I hope someone could help me please? Josiah JB Kellett...
Hello, If you have a book of this cemetery would you please look up any Thornton or Turnbow in it. My research has went very well in finding my Thorntons, but when I started trying to find my g grandmother Melvina Jane Thornton born 1845 in TN my good luck ended. I believe my Melvina was a Turnbow. She married William F. Thornton and they lived in Fulton Co. for many years. After he died, she went to live with my grandpa Christopher Columbus Thornton (Lum) He lived in Strawberry twp. He has one of his twins sons buried at Pawhatan and also a younger sister. I can't find where Melvina went. She was with him in the 1900 census listed as a widow. Any help you can give me, I thank you. Betty in AL

Bertie Joe Rainwater, born in Hoxie, Arkansas on September 25, 1926, was married in Hoxie, Arkansas on November 3, 1945, to Howard “Frances” Burtnett, born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 15, 1918, and died in Jonesboro, Arkansas on November 2, 1961. Should this be Burnett?, not Burtnett? thanks, Carol T.
Do you know if Bertie Joe Rainwater was related to an Eliza Ann Rainwater who also could have been Eliza Ann Canada Lingo? This would have been in the Powhatan area and around Lynn Arkansas. This would have been in the late 1800's. Several years ago in the Dent Cem., at Annieville, there was a marker with the info on it that Friend Phillips, his wife, Susan, & infant were buried in single grave. This would have been about 1985. In 1999 my husband & I drove back to the area & went to Dent Cem. The marker was gone. Friend & Susan Phillips had 10 children. His parents are Alfred Friend & Ann (Pace) Phillips. This is my g-g-g-g'parents. I have copy of their marriage license. I'd like to 'fill out' the family dates, names, etc. of Friend & Susan Phillips. With that many children, there's got to be someone who is related to them, & to me. My g-g-g'parents are Riley Henderson & Mary Caroline (Phillips) Guthrie. Mary is Friend's sister. There was 11 of the Phillips children. Carol Thompson twister@pokynet.com
This is great.... Did you contact Nancy Matthews and get her to put your information up? She can then put your e-mail address as a person to contact.
