Hi everyone, I'm new to this list and thought I would begin my search here on the EDDY family. I had a recent breakthrough for a Marietta EDDY marrying Dr. Daniel D. Hunter in Lawrence County. I am interested if anyone should have information on the family/descendants and history of one Francis EDDY who arrived in Black River township from Indiana in the late 1810s to early 1820s and died between 1844 to 1850. His family I believe are as follows: Daughters: Marietta married Daniel D. HUNTER Matilda married 1.) James WAYLAND 2.) David L. RICHEY Sarah EDDY Emma Amy EDDY married Jonathan WAYLAND Martha EDDY Sons: Asa EDDY married H. WAYLAND Ezra EDDY married Malissa CHURCH Hiram EDDY Edward EDDY married Elizabeth WAYLAND Francis EDDY, Jr. Would greatly appreciate any help! Also any tips in researching the Black River and Lawrence County history! Sincerely yours, Kurt Cusanovich Phoenix, AZ
By mistake, a copy of a statement about the above people was attached to a marriage certificate that I ordered from Lawrence Co., AR. If someone would like to have it, email me privately. In the note, Annie Stansberry states that she is not now nor ever was married to Andrew Cook and that there is no legal obstacle in the way of her marriage to Dewit C. Evans. Catherine Gillespie Marx
I have a copy of this couple's marriage certificate, dated 18 December 1849 in Lawrence County, AR. If someone would like this copy, email me privately and I will send it to you. Catherine Gillespie Marx
I received, by mistake, a marriage certificate for Charles Rowland and Clara Banning, dated 1890 in Lawrence County, AR. If anyone would like this copy, please email me privately and I will send it to you. Catherine Gillespie Marx
