I have found my Grgrandpa and grgrandma on the 1880 census in Grant Township. Is that in Grant Co?? Also is there a way to get something to show that the grgrandmother who is shown in the census died in Oct-Nov-Dec 1886. As there is no Death index for 1889.Her name is Adeline SYKES was a SWADER before marriage between 1870-1880. I havent been able to get or find any info on the James L. SYKES and her together other than the census for 1880. She was born in (according to census) Arkansas abt 1852. Her first child(according to census ) was born Emma , in abt 1875 in Ar.2nd child born, James abt. 5 months before census. Where can I be directed to find any of the things I need for them..
