    3. My grandparents were married in 1933. On my grandmother's marriage license, the Minister who married her to my grandfather lists his credentials as being on file 'in Book M7, p. 199, Recorder's Office, Lonoke County, Ark.' Are these records available for public viewing and how would I get them if they are? Also, the minister was my grandmother's cousin. My great-grandparents (PUCKETT) raised him and my grandmother still refers to him as 'Ed RUMP', yet he signed his name as 'G. E. PUCKETT' on the marriage license. The 'Ed' is easy to explain because I think he used his second name that began with an 'E'. I am guessing that he used Puckett to honor the only father he probably ever knew, my great-grandfather PUCKETT. Was this common? Would he have had to officially change his name or was it just a simple case of using one name or the other. I have his Social Security Card application and it says his father was a PUCKETT, but the first name wasn't one my grandmother knew. Thanks!
