Dear List, I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather George Minor/Miner, c.a. before 1850. My Great Great Grandfather was married to Louiza Mack. They had 11 children, Charlie, Jehovah, Neilly, Dugwood, Tom, Jessie, Doss, Renner (Girl), Sissie, Sam, and one unknown. Sam was my Great Grandfather was married to Harriet Taylor. I'm not sure the name of the plantation where Grandpa George and the family lived, but I do know that there were two other families who were owned by the same person - Massey's and Meekins. I have reason to believe that the plantation was located in the LouAnn, AR (Ouachita County) area, and at the time of Emancipation my Great Grandfather Sam was 11 years old. Looking for slave information about Grandpa George, i.e. what was the name of the plantation he came from and if there are any records about Grandpa George's parents and grandparents if possible.
