    1. [ARKANSAS] PERRY
    2. I've been looking into the name PERRY in Arkansas a little bit for my son. My ex-husband's grandfather, T. D. Perry (Thomas David) lived in Little Rock, then in Malvern (?). There were a lot of black Perry families in Little Rock around 1900, which is the year I can access an index to, but this family happens to be white. I haven't found them yet. They would have been in Little Rock at least by 1920, I think, but I have to go through that census page by page. My son was told they moved out of Little Rock because his ggrandfather couldn't keep his grandfather away from the railroad track -- he kept getting on trains (he was born about 1914). I don't know when T. D. PERRY was born, but he was in the Spanish-American War. My ex-husband's father's name was Paul John PERRY. He had some brothers and sisters but I don't know their names. Sorry this is so rambling. I thought I'd see if there was a connection.
