Hi All, I recvd this from Michael Brown this PM and he had email from Mr. Lloyd Clark re: the Lawrence County Family History Book. Here is what he recieved. Jeri To: Michael Brown Subject: Re: Lawrence County History Book Date: Tue, 18 Sep 2001 23:46:08 -0500 Mike, Pass the word. Shipment of first 500 books arrived today. Remainder are to be brought personally by a Turner Pub. representative. Looks good. We plan to try to distribute some this Saturday at the Powhatan Courthouse (10 to 2) and the following Saturday (10-12 & 2-4) during Pearlfest and Male and Female Academy dedication- from the Methodist Church. We will have to work evenings to package and mail those which will go out of the area. Have no idea how long it will take us to get that going at this time. We will hold a book committee meeting Thursday night at the Powhatan Courthouse to make plans for the distribution process. "but I remain your affectinate cosin untill death." Thank you again Greatgrampa Davis for those words. Never dreamed I'd get to use em!
