Howdy! Does anyone have access to the 1886 marriage rolls for Craighead County? I'm looking for the marriage between William F. Campbell and Rose Ada Gibson. Especially interested in the date of the marriage and the grooms parents. William F. Campbell died on May 12, 1909 (so tried to get parent's name through a death record) but I was told that records weren't kept in AR for deaths that early. Thanks Nancy...I looked through the index as well, and couldn't find the marriage. Yet, Craighead County is where both these families were living at the time this marriage would have taken place. Do you have any thought on where I should look next? Nancy, do you by chance have index to marriage registers for both Black and White folks of Crittenden County from about 1890- 1900? I am searching for marriage record of Ida May Paxton Barrett to John W. POWELL. On the Crittenden census of 1900, both were listed as Black race. Thanks very much.
