Hello List, I am trying to find marriage and death records for the following people. I've searched every possible way I can with no luck, and am hoping that someone can help me. My great grandfather JAMES THOMAS VANDERGRIFT supposedly died in March of 1906 in Prairie County, I have been unable to find any records. (There are several variations of the surname, and he was known to have used the name Tom). He married Laura Ann Johnson (Dobbs) on Oct 24, 1887 in Prairie County. She was the widow of James W Johnson. CORDELE VANDERGRIFT married RUSSELL G WEDGE about 1911, I belive in Prairie or Monroe County. I can't seem to find a record of their marriage or a death date for Cordele. They had twins Russell (Clay) & Sarah who were living with their grandmother Laura Vandergrift in the 1930 census for Monroe County. EMMA VANDERGRIFF married F.M. DOOLEY sometime in 1909, I can't seem to find a marriage date for them. Emma died in 1914 and F.M. (Frank) died in 1916 both in Prairie County. Their children Joseph and Emma were living with their grandmother Laura Vandergrift in the 1920 census for Prairie County. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.
