George had 2 children by his first wife Emma Louise Fish (1 born in Yell County Minnie Jane Sturgeon and 1 born in Sebastian county George Washington Sturgeon Jr.) . He had 9 children by his second wife Laura Pruett. He lived (as far as we know) all his life in AR in or around present Yell, Faulkner, Conway, or Perry counties. The 1910 census of Clarksville shows him, wife Laura, and several children and notes his parents born in IN. He supposedly left home when he was 12 or so - before that was raised by his grandparents, but have no name or reason. Help!! Does anyone know who George's parents are? where they are from? IN? siblings? anything on George?
