    1. [ARKANSAS] State Hospital Burial
    2. Hi List, According to my GGrandmother's Death Certificate she died Dec. 9, 1932 while a patient at the State Hospital in Little Rock and is buried on the grounds. She was Emeline [Emma] L. Piper RICHARDS born 22 Sept. 1869 in Indiana, and married Richard Wellington RICHARDS, March 1, 1887. Is there any chance that I would be able to get information on her medical record during her time in the hospital? Since she is buried on the grounds of the Hospital, I wonder if her grave will even be marked. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mary Gresham OR USA

    3. Hi Mary. I was lurking and caught your msg about your GGM at the Ark State Hospital. I have the same problem except it is my GGF and he died in 1929. I checked into this quite a bit and would certainly be interested in any info you obtain in your search. Let's exchange data on it. A thumbnail sketch has our parents being exhumed and reburied at a State location near Hwy 430 and W Markham St in LR. I went there personally and found nothing but newly built State buildings. Did they just build over our parents??? Our parents are NOT located at the original location downtown and I believe we have a real problem on our hands. I have some Ark Gazette news articles about it and will send you copies if you privately send me your snailmail address. Have a good day. Regards.
