I enjoy reading relevant county histories. I found one of Benton Co, on the Arkansas Families website and it reminded me I should post this query. :-) I am curious if anyone has any more info on the "feud" between the Reese and Pearce families in the 1870s or 80s in Benton Co. I've only found a couple of lines about it, anywhere. It occurred on or near Honey Creek and was over water rights. I assume rights to Honey Creek. It supposedly left some dead, some maimed and some running for Texas (no man's land). If anyone has any more info on this topic that they would like to share, I'd love to hear it. I would love to know what the fight was about and what part, if any, my ancestors played in it.
