Searching for any information about Lewis All, son of David Ann Nancy (McConnel) Allen. Last documented info is he and his son, David McConnel Allen were on the Johnson Co., AR Jury List for 1845. When and where did he die? Is there an obituary? Schmidt.a@verizon.net Sent from my iPad
This Rootsweb list will shut down 2 March 2020 per Ancestry's decision Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state. Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb. I do not wish to leave you in dark when the old list shut down all of a sudden. I invite you to migrate over to the new list. 67 members already moved to the new list. There are features you can use, not available at Rootsweb. Photos, files allowed. County hashtags to filter you to specific counties. Expandable. Go to the site first, to join Scroll down to the blue button where it says "Join this Group". https://groups.io/g/Arkansas-Genealogy W David Samuelsen
Hello everyone, unfortunately Rootsweb announced today that after March they would no longer hosts mailing lists. While this definitely saddens me greatly, I wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the various Facebook genealogy groups. Hope this helps, and happy hunting! He was in the penitentiary in 1898; died in 1901. I suspect he was there when he died, but that's a guess. I have been unable to find a grave for him. Does anyone know if there is a list of prisoners buried at/near that facility? I have not been able to find that. I have, though, been able to find records of his service in the Confederate Army. Just can't find his burial place. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2018 09:58:48 -0400 From: Glenna Kinard <gbkinard@sc.rr.com> Subject: [ARKANSAS] Mauldin, Dismukes, Latta I am searching for information on the family of Fleming Thompson Latta (1830-1901). There is no package. This is spam and most likely included a virus of some sort that was stripped when the email list sent it as a text only email. The list's spam catcher should have caught this, but things slip through at the best of times. This has hit several lists. No one should open or click on a link in one of these emails. I receive 3 or 4 of these messages a day.
