She was born July 29, 1929 in Newport, Arkansas to James (Bud) and Beulah Auten. Betty enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends, family and two little dogs. She was a wonderful wife, a devoted mother and the best “Gran” ever! She is survived by her husband, Wilburn Gene Milligan; her daughter, Fonda Esparza; her grandson, Cameron Hewlett; her sisters, Ollie Mae Brokaw and Maude Lynn Nash; and her brother, Curtis Auten, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, George, James and Frank Auten. Viewing will be Sunday, February 27 from 4-8 and funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 28 at 10 am at Green Acres in Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to the charity of your choice. NOTE: Submitter is not related in any way to deceased.
