Surnames: Reagan, Ragon, Regan, Ragan, Brown Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hV.2ADE/2273 Message Board Post: I am looking for info on Anliza or Anlija Reagan (or possibly Ragon, Regan, Ragan) who was born in Mississippi and died in 1878 in Cabin Creek, Johnson Co, AR. Anliza is my "brick wall"--I can find no information other than her marriage record to Samuel Brown and I don't even know what her actual name was. The marriage record indicates her name was Anliza Ragon, but I suspect this might have been a misspelling of her surname. I would like to find out who her parents were and any other information that someone might have. In 1872 she married Samuel Brown, son of Thomas & Isabella Brown of Ireland and had two children, Margaret Christine Brown (b. 5 Mar 1872), and Mary Brown (b. 9 Apr 1877). Margaret, who went by the name Christine, married James Porter Blount and died 28 Mar 1958. Mary married George Manley North. They had no children. Mary died 15 Jan 1963. Anliza Reagan Brown died at a very young age and Samuel remarried to Virgia (or Mary Virgia) in 1892. The girls he had with Anliza were raised by their grandparents, Thomas & Isabella Brown.
