Seems possible that your John R., age 24 may fit the bill. Do you have anything further on him after the 1880 census. My John Hill died somewhere in the l940's. He fathered a child in 1890-1891 out of wedlock. My information shows the mother to be a Cora Freeman. That child being my grandmother, Daisy Hill. Daisy was raised by Ella Pearson Seeman until her death, then by Victoria Johnson Hilderbrand Seeman and of course the husband, John Seeman. Anything you may have regarding John Hill could be very helpful. Thank you in advance for your time. (Cora Freeman also a big mystery)
