SMITH but another SMITH in that area married another WHITTLE. Bessie WHITTLE b. abt 1866 was daug. of James B. WHITTLE (bro. of Jessie) & his wife Josephine (unknown last name)...I've been told that everybody on the hill at Coal Hill is related in some way. My DOSS family came from GA after the Civil War to that area & they still live there. I'd like to have your SMITH information because I have so many other surnames in that area. Gloria
