My grandfather was Jefferson Davis Chappell and was born in Coal Hill in March 1889. That's all the information I have other than he moved to Hacket Arkansas (Sebastian) county sometime probably in the very early 1900's. He married Lula Cleveland Gage but I'm not sure when or where but she was from War Eagle Arkansas. Lula's father was Abraham Lincoln Gage. I believe Jeff may have had a brother named George. Mary, Both parents (James W. Chappell and Abe L. Gage) are still in the same place in the 1910 census, but I cannot find Jeff and Lula. They are not showing up by using the index in Sebastian County, but I am going to try to find them by a page by page search. Will let you know, if I find something.
