Finally having his middle name, I searched the SSI and he is deceased 10/10/1998. He was born 4/7/1913 in TN. So, my search is now for any children they might have had. I also have determined that the people in the train pictures are the Poteet's. There are children in the pictures also, so they might be grandchildren. If anyone has any ties to these decendant's and can put me in touch with them, I would be very thankful.
