    1. World War I Soldiers Lookup

    3. List Members, I have just received all six volumes of the "Index of the World War I - Soldiers", if someone should need a lookup. Please keep the lookups to a minimum (two to three) and state in the subject line "WWI - Lookup". Also, please give first and last names of the veteran you are looking for. Due to being fair to the publisher and writer, do not ask for "all of the Smith's, Jones' etc, etc. These books contain over 65,000 soldiers, and would be a great asset to any genealogist library. The following is what all it gives on most of the soldiers: a.. full name b.. army serial number (essential for getting more information) c.. race d.. residence city and county e.. date and place he entered service f.. whether he was an officer g.. his age in years and months or date of birth h.. town and state (or foreign city and country) of his birth i.. and notes Becky Roberts Pilotsmom@classicnet.net "I only work on Genealogy on days that end in "Y"." - Author Unknown
