Emma, was the daughter of William Reed, born 1820 Tenn. and Elizabeth Martin, born 1824 Missouri. Emiline Reed married, John Askins who died in 1906 Clarksville, Ark. both buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery.John and Emma were the parents of eight children: 1.Lizzie who married Howard Kolb 2.Oma who married Arthur King 3.Ester, who married ? Bean 4.Pearl who married Richard Johnson 5.John who married bertha Byron 6.Harlow, never married 7.Trobie, who lived in Pine Bluff, Ark. 8.Ila Mitchell Rufus..who lived in Redland, Calif. I do not have any dates of this family. Would like to contack anyone of this family's descendants that might know of an old William Reed Bible that would name William's parents and from where in Tenn. that he was born.
