Hufft I have in my family research is the same one you have in yours....he married a woman named Lovey B. Patterson on 12 July, 1877 in Johnson Co., AR. Their first daughter, Susie Melvina Hufft (born 20 October, 1879) was my husband's gg-grandmother. My records show they had at least two other children, Huston Hufft born around Dec. 1880, and a daughter L? Hufft, born in about October 1886. Lovey was the daughter of Henry Patterson (b. abt. 1793, NC) and Louisa (Unknown - b. abt. 1819, NC). Henry and Louisa Patterson were in Gibson Co., TN in 1850 but had migrated to Spadra Township, Johnson Co., AR by 1860. If this sounds like the same people, I'd love to hear from you!
